What does the fandom call Zhongli?
"Zhongli-sensei", "Sensei" - A common nickname from the Japanese fans, as he's called this in the Japanese dub. Western fans have taken to calling him these nicknames as well. "CEO of GEO" - Because he's the Geo Archon and (former) creator of all the world's currency.
He controls the element of Geo and uses a Polearm in combat. Zhongli, a 5-star character, is a consultant for the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. But more importantly, he is the Geo Archon; Zhongli is the vessel for Morax (the God of Contracts and Rex Lapis).
It is implied that Xiao knows of Rex Lapis' mortal form with evidence from his voiceline "About Zhongli", referring to Zhongli as 'Zhongli-daren' and 'Zhongli-sama' in the Chinese voice and Japanese dub respectively.
Hu Tao referred to Zhongli as "our good consultant" and mentioned that she was going on a business trip together with Zhongli.
Guizhong allied herself with Zhongli and tried to defend her people, but she was slain in battle and died amongst the Glaze Lilies in Guili Plains. After this, Zhongli and her people moved south and Liyue Harbor was established.
According to Google, “Childe calls Zhongli "Zhongli-sensei" in the Japanese version of the game due to the fact that Zhongli was the one who taught Childe how to hold chopsticks properly. In Chinese, he calls him "xiansheng", a respectful honorific loosely translating to "sir".”
The two have never personally interacted in canon. However, after Traveler makes their way from the Jade Chamber, Zhongli gives a brief mention of Ningguang (as the "Lady of the Jade Chamber"). Additionally, from either character's voicelines, it can be inferred that the two have known each other for a long while.
Even so, there are no two ways about it, Zhongli is Xiao's boss. As Morax, he was the one who formed the Yakshas out of Adepti in order to combat the demons in Liyue.
Genshin Impact surprised players by releasing Hu Tao, a pyro polearm user who is one of the most powerful five-stars to date. She runs the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor as the director, is a friend to Zhongli, and also one of the most eccentric characters in the game.

How old is Zhongli exactly?

The Geo Archon, also known as Zhongli, is the oldest character in Genshin Impact.
That 'someone' is commonly speculated to be Lumine (Traveler). Xiao gives Lumine a butterfly amulet on her birthday. In Chinese culture, a butterfly represents young love and symbolizes an undying bond between lovers, as well as immortality. Xiao also states that the amulet is made to stave off evil.
The first time they met, Childe saved Aether and called him 'buddy'.
Shi Long. The moment the empress and her husband found infant Shi Long, they loved her like a daughter. They doted on her for several years, with a strong mother-daughter bond between the two until Xiao was born, upon which she stated focusing on Xiao instead.
Also Known As. QiTao is the friendship between Hu Tao and Qiqi from the Genshin Impact fandom.
ChiLumi is the het ship between Tartaglia and Lumine from the Genshin Impact fandom.
YanTao is the femslash ship between Yanfei and Hu Tao from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Romance has yet to play much of a role in Genshin Impact, but Guizhong may be the reason that Zhongli never seemed to have found a partner.
Despite his supposed clumsy nature, Zhongli is a very serious man who for thousands of years took care of Liyue and those who lived inside of it.
Pierro is the 1st of the Fatui Harbingers. He's the very first member of the Fatui who only shows up during important occasions. His actual achievements are unknown and it seems that he prefers to work in the background. He has recruited several Harbingers including Il Dottore, Pantalone, Signora, and Scaramouche.
Why did Zhongli name Xiao?
The god's bloodthirsty path came to an end at Morax's hand during the Archon War; Xiao was freed and Morax bestowed him with the name "Xiao" for his own protection.
Zhongli's age in Genshin Impact
Like Venti, Zhongli's true age is never specified. It's said that Morax is over 6000 years old, as he helped shape the geography of Liyue. Over 6000 years old is a vague number, but it confirms that Zhongli isn't anywhere below 6000 years.
In Zhongli's Story Quest, Lumine then meets Zhongli at the Pearl Gallery. Wanyan asks Zhongli if Lumine and Paimon are his friends, Zhongli says yes and tells that both Lumine and Paimon are quite a knowledgeable and talented pair, also and a pleasure to be around.
Keqing has a crush on Zhongli.
Ningguang and Beidou aren't a canon couple, but that will never stop me from believing. Ningguang is the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, arguably the most politically powerful character in Teyvat, and the ambitious, watchful eye over all of Liyue.
